I also bought a new bike just before going to Puerto Rico, it'll be the race hardtail for me. It's a 2004 Gary Fisher Team 29er, I bought it used off a member of the Tokyo Joes cycling team, he just got a new Superfly and didn't need this anymore. New Bike and Back on the Commute
It's nice be commuting again, it's requiring less motivation to get out of bed each day. I'm also liking the Niterider Trail Rat 2.0 I picked up for commuting, just-about-right run-times, bright enough to overpower the oncoming headlights on C-470, bright enough that I don't out-ride it, heavy enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing down my race setup.
